LISA TELEPMAN

The owner of Say Lula Salon; Lisa is Say Lula & Say Lula is Lisa and her vision of all forms of art and creativity working together in order to live our best lives. Lisa is an art team member for Toni and Guy on their cutting team. She specializes in curly hair, color and hair extensions. She is involved in doing hair for fashion shows and photo shoots and loves to create events in the salon that bring people together in the community. She is a definite risk taker and strives to educate and upgrade hairdressers by sharing the culture of Toni and Guy and constantly keeping progressive. Being involved in the hair industry for over 10 years she needed to take things to the next level by starting Say Lula and creating an atmosphere for artists of all kinds and paving the way for other innovative businesses to come into an area of San Diego that has been overlooked.

DANIELLE ANDERSON

I have been in hair and makeup for 10 years now. Being a makeup artist at MAC the last five years and in a salon the last six years. Prior to that I worked as a freelance stylist. I have a true passion not only make my clients feel beautiful, but to really teach them something along the way. I love to bring joy through my artistic abilities as a hair stylist and makeup artist. I truly love what I do!

NICOLE BOOTH

Nicole has been in the hair industry since 2008 in San Jose, Ca. She relocated to San Diego in 2011. She has advanced, specialized training in Framesi and Aveda hair color and products. She has an eclectic and modern flair and has an eye for detail.

If there is anything she does best, it is connecting with people of many different cultures and styles. She is very excited to build her clientele here in beautiful San Diego!

Emalyn Fanugao

As Long as I could recall, I've always had a keen interest in the world of art. At an early age, I've discovered my own creativity and artistic outlook expressed through makeup and hair. The magic of transforming a person's appearance utilizing color, cut, makeup or creative hair art has become a personal passion of mine, and essentially a part of me. With over 6 years of professional experience within the industry, I enjoy collaborating with a vast client base to come up with fashion forward styles individualized to their needs and fashion vision. For me, beauty is synonymous with uniqueness and lies within the eye of the Hair & Makeup Artist. I look at every client and try to keep the look as unique as the client's personality. I don't change features; I only enhance them. For every project, I incorporate my unique style, creative edge, and positive outlook to achieve my ultimate desired results: making people look and feel gorgeous and confident about their natural beauty.

JENNA MARIE HALL

Specializing in perfect highlights, ombre techniques, and hair color in high-fashion shades.  Followed by deep conditioning treatments, scalp/shoulder massages, precision, tailored haircuts all finished with a custom blow dry and style.

BOBBI MARUCA

Bobbi has been in the beauty industry for over 6 years, and has committed herself to staying on top of today’s cutting edge on today’s Fashion Hair trends, ensuring her clients are always aware of what’s HOT and what’s NOT!

Bobbi has always set her standards high, which included studying abroad at the TIGI Academy in Italy, where she advanced and broadened her cutting and color techniques. Her abilities are vast and range from Women’s, Children, and Men’s Haircuts, to beautiful, Avant Guard Up-dos, and Color.

BROOKLYN

Brooklyn's career in the hair industry started in 2001 in Toronto, Canada. She began educating fellow stylists in 2004 while working for Loreal Professional Canada. In 2006 Brooklyn moved to NYC and worked for Roy Teeluck Salon, as well as styling for photo-shoots and runway shows. In 2011 Brooklyn attended a month-long intensive training at Arrojo in NYC, taught by industry icon and TV stylist (from What Not to Wear) Nick Arrojo himself. She specializes in precision cutting and the art of hand-painted highlights (balayage). Brooklyn has been working at Say Lula since November 2012 and is excited to be a part of the Say Lula team!

JENNY O

Jennifer "Jenny O" Oxier has been a professional Hair and Makeup Artist, business owner, community activist, philanthropist, as well as an Educator based in Reno, Nevada for over a decade. Jenny O. is fluent in all aspects of color and design behind the chair. Beyond the chair, she has a background in grooming for feature films as well as key hair and makeup for print all over the west coast. Due to popular demand, she relocated part time in Southern California to expand her growing artistry. <3

Since I can remember I have always been taken by a person's facial features (the symmetry and contours). As much as I am fascinated by a person's aesthetic beauty, having the inner beauty to compliment, can only complete the package. This is why my need to connect each person's personality and lifestyle plays such a vast role in my balancing act of; conceptual beauty and keeping YOU, my client, satisfied.

Upon meeting my clients for the first time, I like to get a feel for who you are, and what it is you want to achieve with your look. A lot of my clients come to me with a picture in hand, asking me to make them look exactly like the person in the picture. However, not every color or style will work well for you. As your Hairstylist, I am here to educate you on what works best for your hair type and skin. I am here to guide you and help you to understand the science and art behind your hair. I specialize in enhancing one's natural beauty to compliment your every day lifestyle.

DMARKIS WIGFALL

A stylist for 9 years and a third generation hairstylist; Dmarkis is dedicated to providing consistent professional service using the highest quality products. He’s been recognized for the outstanding service he provides to each and every client who sits in his chair. Dmarkis specializes in haircutting, chemical straightening, healthy hair care, detailing, and styling for both men and women.

Born in Dallas, raised watching his mother create hair-styles for her clients, his interest in making women beautiful awakened. He has worked as an instructor for aspiring hair stylists and continues to educate not only himself but others while styling hair. Dmarkis has traveled to London, New York and Las Vegas to study and train for more advanced techniques. He has also worked closely with Scott Copeland Modeling Agency, various print and digital media, photographers, and fashion events to create looks and styles that represent the ever changing face of beauty.
